Ink & Toner Recycling Guide

Recycle Your Used Printer Cartridges

Did you know that more than 350 million old ink and toner cartridges contribute to over 254 million tons of trash in the United States each year? Printer cartridges are also a significant investment in resources, from plastics and metals to inks and toners. These resources are wasted when the cartridges are discarded into landfills—that's why ComboInk's remanufactured cartridges are such a great choice for your home or office.

Don't be a statistic! Start recycling your old cartridges today. See below for the most popular manufacturers' ink recycling programs. Or check out your original product's box to find out where to dispose of your cartridge. If you have more than 100 used cartridges to return, we’ll be happy to accept them. Please contact us today to inquire about our bulk collection program.

Recycling Guide
HP offers two convenient ways to recycle your original HP ink or LaserJet cartridges. Drop off at an HP Authorized Retail Collection Location or print/order postage-paid shipping materials on the HP website.
For your used Epson inkjet cartridges, ink packs, bags, and bottles, you can package the old cartridges and send to Epson America, Inc.'s Recycling Center. For your AcuLaser CX11N Series cartridges, you can ship using a pre-paid label available on the Epson website.
The Canon cartridge recycling program enables you to send back your all-in-one cartridge via a UPS label on the Canon website. For Canon's plastic toner containers, you can take advantage of your local government recycling program, return your used cartridge directly to Canon, or contact your local Authorized Canon Dealer for other recycling options.
Brother and Samsung both use a mail-in recycling program. Reuse the shipping box from your toner and ink cartridges to return your used cartridges, print a free USPS SmartLabel® shipping label, and drop off the return to anywhere in the U.S. Postal Service mail system.
Lexmark also provides a similar mail-in recycling option: reuse your box, print a shipping label from the website, and ship via the designated carrier.
For your old Dell ink and toner cartridges, package the item, print a prepaid waybill from the Dell recycling web page, and schedule a FedEx pickup or drop off your package at a FedEx location.

Now that you know where to dispose of your old printer cartridge, there is no excuse not to recycle. And then you can come back here to shop our environmentally friendly ink.
