Brother DCP-J525W Ink Cartridge Replacement Guide

  1. Open the printer's ink access cover.
  2. Gently press the lock lever on the top of the cartridge to release it, then carefully pull it out of the printer.
  3. Get your new CompAndSave Brother J525W ink cartridge, and open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case it leaks as sometimes, factories tend to overfill ink cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  4. Insert the new ink cartridge into its respective slot, and gently push it in until the cartridge is firmly seated in place.
  5. Close the printer's ink access cover.

    I am mobile notary so I print many pages weekly. I use a Brother printer for small documents. These inks works great and last a few months or more. My only issue is that before they are even empty my printer tells me to replace it. So there is so more ink in them. But I've been buying them from here for many years.
