How to Replace HP ENVY 5660 Ink Cartridge

  1. Make sure your HP ENVY 5660 printer is powered on.
  2. Open the ink cartridge access door.
  3. The printer will be prompt to move the ink holder to the right position for ink cartridge installation. Wait for the printer to stop before proceeding.
  4. Open the ink cartridge slot and gently press down to release the cartridge. Pull the ink cartridge up out of its slot to remove.
  5. Remove the packaging from the replacement ink cartridge and remove the protective tape.
  6. Holding the cartridge in an upward angle, slide the cartridge into the cartridge slot until you hear it click in place.
  7. Close the cartridge access door and wait for the ink holder to complete alignment. Now you're ready to start printing!

How do I connect my HP ENVY 5660 printer?
  1. Verify that your computer or mobile device is set to the same local wireless network that your printer is connected to. If you are trying to connect your smartphone or tablet, turn on the blue-tooth function on your device.

How do I scan from my HP ENVY 5660 to my computer?

For Mac Computer

Having issues connecting your printer to WiFi? Try a couple of these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Open the scanner portion of the printer and place your document or photo print side down on the glass.
  2. Close the lid to the scanner
  3. Search for "Scan" and select "HP Easy Scan"
  4. Choose your printer name from the "Scanner" drop down menu.
  5. Choose your scan job type and select "Scan" to begin.
  6. To edit or make adjustments to your scanned document or photo, click on the thumbnail of the scanned document or photo. Click "Edit" found on the bottom right hand side of the window.
  7. Click on "Send" > "Folder" then select "Where you would like to save your file to".

For Windows ® Computer

  1. Open the scanner portion of the printer and place your document or photo print side down on the glass.

  3. Search for "HP" and select your printer

    THis is the second time I have ordered from Comboink. I am generally please with the timely delivery of the order. I had one issue. The color cartridge started only printing partially after a short time. The ink icon on my HP printer said there was plenty of ink in the cartridge but it was not operating correctly. I removed the cartridge and cleaned the head and when I put it back in the problem persisted. Finally, I gave up and installed a new color cartridge which is working fine.

    This is the 2nd order I made from your company. My 1st order 300287027, I was totally satisfied with your product. On my latest order 300301090 the quality of the black cartridges was very poor. I had to go to Staples and purchase a NEW black cartridge. This new cartridge worked great, this told me that it wasn't my printer, I'm willing to try a replacement cartridge if you send me 2 that will replace your 1st poor quality cartridges. if not I won't be purchasing your product in the future.     Good price and good print quality. The only issues are that the cartridges ink level do not register and the error message received to reset/reload the cartridge when you attempt to print. An improvement would be to overcome these issues. Remanufactured cartridges you can purchase at a similar cost do not have these issues. Thanks!
